Don Johnson as Nash Bridges
Donnie Wayne Johnson was born in Flat Creek, Missouri, on December 15, 1949, and he lived in Missouri and Kansas while growing up. After a year at the University of Kansas, he was hired by the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco. In 1985, Miami Vice was his big break, bringing him into the eyes of the public, and making a name for him as an actor. Don Johnson co-wrote a two-hour TV movie with the late Hunter S. Thompson. It was not used, but CBS bought it and transformed it into Nash Bridges.
Cheech Marin as Joe Dominguez
Cheech Marin is best known for being a member of the comedy duo Cheech and Chong. After the duo went their separate ways, Marin made the transition to television when he co-starred with Don Johnson in the series Nash Bridges.
Jodi Lynn O'Keefe as Cassidy Bridges
Jodi Lynn O'Keefe was born on October 10, 1978, in Cliffwood Beach, New Jersey. She started off in modeling, and then left school to play in a soap opera called Another World. She then got a role on Nash Bridges as Don Johnson's daughter.
Yasmine Bleeth as Caitlin Cross
Yasmine Bleeth, best known for her role as Caroline Holden on Baywatch, was born on June 14, 1968. She started doing commercials when she was 6 months old and played in various TV movies while growing up. After Baywatch, she joined the cast of Nash Bridges for a short time.
